Research & Strategic Planning
NRDC scrutinizes client real estate platforms. Working with client executives,
we devise and implement plans to optimize real estate portfolios to meet business
objectives and increase enterprise value.
The NRDC staff is comprised of over 50 experienced professionals who can
analyze lease provisions, title histories, cross easement agreements, boundary
and topographical surveys, construction documents, demographic studies,
competition maps, statistical location correlations, and other variables, and then
formulate and render concrete solutions. We help our clients devise efficient real
estate strategies and harness the power of their real estate to serve their business

DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGIC PLANNING
NRDC provides strategic real estate services to help its clients devise and implement plans to optimize the value of their real estate platforms. LEASING AND DISPOSITION SERVICES
NRDC maintains relationships with all major shopping center tenants and property owners throughout the United States. We handle in excess of 1.5 million square feet of new retail leases per year. In addition, NRDC handles dispositions efficiently and effectively by using a multi-tiered promotional plan, and by utilizing our extensive relationships in the industry.
CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
NRDC handles in excess of 1 million square feet a year of new building space and retrofitting of existing buildings to accommodate new tenants. With expertise in construction of complicated retail developments, environmental remediation and cost control, this group provides services of significant value to tenants looking to expand their portfolio.
GOVERNMENTAL APPROVALS
NRDC is responsible for completing approvals for over 1 million square feet of commercial projects per year, which translates into a strong understanding of how to protect tenants' rights and needs for access, parking, visibility, and signage. Outside consultants are leveraged to guarantee high quality results. Design and coordination for complicated multi-store formats - some of which utilize escalators, parking garages, and loading elevators - are coordinated with consultants such as Street Works to protect tenants and achieve store layouts in accordance with their requirements and specifications.
